Hanley Contracting is owned and run by Ben Hanley.

​

Ben has worked in the land management sector for fifteen years as Senior Reserve Manager & Countryside Ranger, working with organisations including Dorset County Council, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and Natural England. In landscapes from Glencoe, Scotland to St. Austell, Cornwall, and as far as Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

Farming since 2012. Ben started in a traineeship funded through the Grazing Animals Project, focusing on Conservation Grazing. He has since worked for several farms in the South West of England and is currently the Farm Manager for Cherry Lodge Farm, owned by Natural England and home to Parsonage Down National Nature Reserve.

Ben specialises in Habit Management, Conservation Grazing and Regenerative Farming.
