Wildflower Meadow creation

This year we’ve been reverting 1.5 acres of former parkland into a wildflower meadow. This is an ongoing project which began in January 2025. We have winter grazed using our Shropshire Sheep to remove any of last year’s grass growth. This summer, we took a hay cut and will be getting ready for harrowing, re-seeding and rolling this autumn.
